Steven Heuring has been a resident of Vandenberg Village since 2001. He is married with two adult children - and six grandsons. He enlisted in the United States Air Force right after graduating high school June 1973. His military career spanned 26 years and he reach the grade of Senior Master Sergeant before retiring July 1999. Along the way he earned an Associates Degree in Production Commercial Art. After retiring from the USAF, Steve was employed by Princeton Publishing located in Indiana to manage their Graphics System & Advertising Department. In December 2000 Steve was enticed to returned back to Vandenberg to work as a Visual Information Specialist for the 30th Space Wing - Public Affairs Office, Art Department. Steve retired from Federal Civil Services December 2021 culminating a 47 year career with the Department of the United States Air Force.
Steve is a board member of the Vandenberg Village Association, Vandenberg Village Lions Club, and the Vandenberg Village Park & Playground Coalition.
