Ron Stassi discovered Vandenberg Village soon after the City of Lompoc hired him as its Utility Director in 2007. While managing Lompoc’s utilities, he developed an effective working relationship with the District and became aware of its responsibilities to the community. Prior to coming to the central coast, he also managed the City of Burbank Water and Power Department and worked seven years for a major consulting company. He has BSEE, MSEE, and MBA degrees and served as an Army Reservist. His focus is on protecting our safe and sustainable water supply and supporting reasonable rate policies.
